Selected assignments involving business analysis, application development, databases, reporting, technical support and web-based systems.
Combined Insurance
Business development of insurance products, including planning, marketing and maintaining reports in a Forms environment.
Road Runner
Provided technical support to customers of a high-speed Internet service company, including TCP/IP configurations, email-client settings, Internet browser issues and connectivity problems.
Royal LePage & EXIT Realty
Developed and managed websites and web content, including Customer Relationship Management solutions for Realtors.
StarTech
Captured ASCII data from telephone-call monitoring software, imported the information into Excel and Access, and generated management reports using Crystal Reports. SQL Server data was also analyzed for reporting requirements.
London Hydro
Analysis, design and data-security work involving the Customer Information System, requirements analysis, Oracle database stored procedures and packages, database tables, PowerBuilder development and XML schemas.
Hammerman & Associates
Contracted for work involving the Royal Learning Network. Analyzed Oracle database information and generated required reports using Crystal Reports and PL/SQL.
Maple Gas
Business and Technical Analyst defining technical requirements for making office-application systems accessible through the Web. Developed web-based, database-driven application prototypes.
Scotia Mortgage Corporation
Worked with business rules and requirements for mortgage products, online application testing, problem logging and maintenance of test documents and reports.
National Trust (BNS)
Worked on a UNISYS-to-IBM data-conversion project, including source-code development, test planning, test data, testing and project submission.
M.O.E.E. — Government of Ontario
Developed, tested and implemented data-maintenance functions and reports in a PowerBuilder, Informix and SQL-Anywhere environment.
Al's Cartage
Developed, tested and implemented an Overages, Shortages & Damages data-maintenance module together with 16 ad-hoc reports using MS-SQL Server and PowerBuilder.
Green Shield
Developed two front-end data-maintenance modules using PowerBuilder and Oracle.
Chrysler Canada
Participated in the North American Fleet System Joint Application Development project involving Chrysler's manufacturing, financial services and leasing subsidiaries. Work included systems discussions and design, data modeling, prototyping, development and instruction/training of team members.

Systems development, re-engineering, integration, management and implementation assignments.
Syntel Software Pvt. Ltd. — AIG
Re-engineering project involving conversion of selected Mainframe modules to Client/Server, maintenance of existing Mainframe applications and coordination with on-site personnel in the USA.
JAMS International
Developed a Library Management System in a Client-Server environment using PowerBuilder and Watcom. Involved in the complete lifecycle from systems analysis and design through implementation.
Nikita Diamonds
Developed an integrated system covering Imports, Exports, Accounting and Inventory using Visual Basic, Access and Crystal Reports. Managed a team of four and performed systems analysis, development, testing and implementation.
Cosmic Industries
Worked on MATMAN, an online Materials Management system in a UNIX and INGRES environment. Managed a team of four and performed systems analysis, testing and implementation.
Silicon Chip Technology
Provided UNIX and INGRES training and developed an integrated Accounts & Inventory system using INGRES RDBMS + 4GL. Work covered systems study and analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.
Earlier Systems Experience
Turnkey systems developed between 1984 and 1993.
From January 1984 to October 1993, a number of systems were developed for various clients in the Clipper / x-base environment on a turnkey basis.
Clientele Included
Hindustan Lever, Datamatics Limited, ABN-Amro Bank N.V., Reliance Industries, Ashok Industries, Premier Filters, Cable Corporation, Sarita Distributors, Nik Polymers International and Economic Transport Organization.
